I learned from the last panel I did that there is a high probablity you'll need to get behind the panel at some point. Better to make it easy right from the start. I fabricated a replacement panel with a small extension along the bottom edge, then cut out the interior leaving a nice big hole for easy access. I then cut a seperate plate that all the instruments were mounted to.
